Chicken Curry Made In Triply Steel Pressure Cooker

Chicken curry is a flavorful homemade dish made with tender chicken pieces, onion, tomato, and Indian spices. The Triply Steel Pressure Cooker helps cook chicken faster while keeping it juicy, soft, and full of masala flavor.

Ingredients

For chicken curry:

  • 500 g chicken, cleaned and cut
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chillies, slit
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Step-by-Step Method

  1. Add chicken, curd, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt to a bowl.
  2. Mix well and keep it aside for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in the Triply Steel Pressure Cooker.
  4. Add cumin seeds and bay leaf.
  5. Add chopped onions and saute until golden brown.
  6. Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies.
  7. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and mushy.
  8. Add coriander powder and mix the masala properly.
  9. Add marinated chicken pieces and saute for 4 to 5 minutes.
  10. Add 1/2 cup water and mix well.
  11. Close the lid and cook for 2 to 3 whistles on medium flame.
  12. Let the pressure release naturally.
  13. Open the cooker and simmer the curry for 3 to 4 minutes.
  14. Add garam masala and fresh coriander.
  15. Serve hot with rice, roti, naan, or paratha.
